Ready to Train a Mind That’s Not (Yet) Human?
Imagine being called in for a secret mission. A confidential client has entrusted us with something ambitious, strange, and thrilling: building a conversational AI that listens like a human, learns like a scholar, and speaks with purpose. This isn’t a product. It’s a presence. And it’s your chance to help shape it—right at the point where it all begins.
We’re assembling a select team of brilliant minds to work on a newly commissioned, stealth-mode project. The brief? Discreet. The data? One of a kind. The potential? Enormous. We can’t reveal the client’s name (yet), but trust us—when the curtains open, you’ll want to say you were there from the start.
If you’re excited by the unknown, passionate about intelligence (artificial and otherwise), and eager to leave your mark on something world-class and whisper-quiet (for now), then read on.
This isn’t just a job. It’s an origin story.
Role: Data Annotator / QA Reviewer
The Guardian of Ground Truth
Before the model speaks, it listens.
Before it reasons, it reads.
Before it becomes brilliant, it must first be accurate.
As a Data Annotator / QA Reviewer, you are the sharpest set of eyes in the room. You spot the difference between “uh-huh” and “aha.” You know that a misplaced timestamp, a misheard word, or a misunderstood intent can send a model spiraling into mediocrity.
In this role, you’ll work on the front lines of data quality—cleaning, validating, labeling, and anonymizing the real-world human interactions that will become the soul of our AI.
What You’ll Do
– Carefully review and correct machine-generated transcripts from audio conversations
– Annotate text data with metadata, intent, speaker turns, emotional tone, and custom labels
– Anonymize all data in accordance with GDPR and internal privacy policies
– Flag edge cases, anomalies, and segments requiring special review
– Contribute to the development of internal annotation guidelines and training resources
– Collaborate with ML and speech teams to align annotations with modeling goals
– Maintain obsessive attention to consistency, context, and correctness
Who You Are
– You notice when someone says “uhm” vs. “um” and you care
– You have excellent command of written language (Dutch and/or English, depending on data set)
– You have a high tolerance for repetition and a low tolerance for error
– Experience in linguistics, psychology, legal transcription, or medical data annotation is a big plus
– Bonus: You’ve worked with tools like Doccano, Prodigy, Label Studio, or similar
– Bonus: You enjoy quality control, precision work, and collaborating in small, focused teams
Our Culture & Core Beliefs
In most teams, data annotation is a footnote.
Here? It’s the foundation.
We don’t just treat data annotators with respect—we treat you like mission-critical crew.
We believe in:
– Precision over speed
– Team before ego
– Brutal honesty with zero blame
– No rank in the debrief — everyone’s voice counts, especially when something feels off
– Radical pride in the small details that add up to big breakthroughs
Our Selection Process
Our quality bar is high—and we make no apologies for it.
You’ll go through a straightforward but intense process:
– Culture and values interview
– Logic and language precision test
– Annotation accuracy challenge
– Final debrief with the founders — alignment, energy, and expectations
We don’t need you to be flashy.
We need you to be flawless.
Location & Compensation
– Based at our HQ in Almere, The Netherlands
– Because we believe the best teams work together—like the Blue Angels, side by side
– Compensation well above industry average
– We reward excellence and focus—because this role matters more than most realize.
If you’re the kind of person who hears everything, catches everything, and never lets a mistake slide—this is your mission. We’re building a mind. And it will think clearly because you made the data sing true.
