Project Manager / Technical Lead (#12839)

Ready to Train a Mind That’s Not (Yet) Human?

Imagine being called in for a secret mission. A confidential client has entrusted us with something ambitious, strange, and thrilling: building a conversational AI that listens like a human, learns like a scholar, and speaks with purpose. This isn’t a product. It’s a presence. And it’s your chance to help shape it—right at the point where it all begins.

We’re assembling a select team of brilliant minds to work on a newly commissioned, stealth-mode project. The brief? Discreet. The data? One of a kind. The potential? Enormous. We can’t reveal the client’s name (yet), but trust us—when the curtains open, you’ll want to say you were there from the start.

If you’re excited by the unknown, passionate about intelligence (artificial and otherwise), and eager to leave your mark on something world-class and whisper-quiet (for now), then read on.

This isn’t just a job. It’s an origin story.

Role: Project Manager / Technical Lead

The Architect Behind the Curtain

You’re not here to “manage a project.”
You’re here to lead a movement.

As the Technical Lead, you’re the neural cortex of our operation—the one syncing timelines, data, people, and purpose into a single humming intelligence. You see the path when others see fog. You organize chaos not with Gantt charts, but with clarity of thought and conviction of purpose.

You’ll be the guardian of velocity, the translator of vision, the bridge between science and soul. And yes—you’ll be expected to hold the line when excellence is at stake.

What You’ll Do

– Architect and lead the entire project lifecycle, from raw data to real-world deployment
– Orchestrate a multi-disciplinary team with elegance, speed, and grit
– Translate the abstract (dreams, goals, mission) into the concrete (tasks, sprints, results)
– Interface with our high-stakes client while protecting our process and culture
– Make high-stakes build vs buy decisions and align team energy toward what matters most
– Establish and enforce our technical quality bar—not just for code, but for character

Who You Are

– You’ve led AI, NLP, or data-intensive teams through ambiguity and into excellence
– You know how to rally top talent and build high-trust, high-performance environments
– You’ve got one foot in engineering, one foot in product, and both eyes on vision
– You’ve worked with open-source LLMs, fine-tuning pipelines, or ML infrastructure (or want to)
– You don’t just solve problems—you architect the solution space
– Bonus: You think in systems. You speak in metaphors. You lead with heart and spine.

Our Culture & Core Beliefs

We are not looking for average.
We are building a team of elite builders and thinkers—those who are obsessed with learning, excellence, and purpose.

We believe in:
– Radical ownership
– Mission before ego
– Precision over perfectionism
– Intelligence with humility
– Energy that elevates others

Our Selection Process

We respect your time—and we expect the same.
To join this crew, you’ll go through a rigorous yet rewarding process:
– A values alignment interview (we care how you think and what drives you)
– An intelligence test (IQ + pattern recognition)
– A personality deep-dive (to understand how you lead and collaborate)
– A real-world challenge (your chance to flex brilliance under pressure)
– A final call with the founders (to talk vision, culture, and alignment)

This isn’t just about proving skill. It’s about discovering fit.

Location & Compensation

– No rank in the debrief — everyone’s voice matters
– Brutal honesty with zero ego — we critique the work, not the person
– Precision execution — rehearsed, refined, and elevated together
– Radical accountability — we take the hit when it’s ours, and own the win as a team
– Compensation well above market standards
– And most of all: the chance to build something worth remembering
